“To have taken the project, (Free Sprit) from rough concept to finished design in two months was little short of miraculous. And to have done it in such a positive spirit of creative collaboration! It is—in my experience—unprecedented.”

–Tim Willis, Director, Exhibits and Visitor Experience
Free Spirit was created as a major feature temporary exhibit that celebrates the 150th Anniversary of the establishment of British Columbia. The exhibit is a journey into BC’s history as told through the stories of unique individuals. The design and interpretation of
the exhibit was a partnership with André & Associates and the museum in-house design, education, interpretation and fabrication teams. This project was completed in record time—4 months!
