    Tom Palfrey

    Senior Designer/Multimedia

Since the early 1970's Tom has been involved in the planning and developing of visitor experiences. He has proved adept in many areas; from exhibit design to media development, text editing to script writing, marketing to lighting, generally leaping into the breach when and as required. Audio zones, programmed lights, film or video, Tom’s years of sensitivity to a vast array of subject matters enable him to steep each production in authenticity reflecting the heart of the subject at hand. Through his creative direction, Tom’s productions have given voice to minority groups, such as the “Downwinders” at the Atomic Testing Museum, or the veterans at Tamastslikt Cultural Institute. Tom’s hunger for research has made him a great assistant to curators requiring additional research to flesh out their topics.
